March Camping Trip

 

Saturday, March 5 – Sunday, March 6

Harriman/Bear Mountain State Park, New York

Cost approximately $10

 

Moderate backpacking trip approximately 3 miles on Saturday and 2 miles on Sunday.

 

After coming out of the woods on Sunday, we will visit the West Point campus and military museum.

 

Departure: Saturday at 8 a.m. from the Exit 58 western park-ride lot.

Return: Sunday around 6 p.m.

 

Specialized gear needed: Full Rain Suit (NOT a poncho), Pack Boots, and Walking Stick

This trip will be postponed if significant rainfall is forecasted.

Participation commitment must be e-mailed to aaeryjr@comcast.net by Friday, February 25.
