Agenda 6/2/05 1. Strawberry Social Tower – Tonight is important to finish the tower (needs straightening, floor, and rope ladder & even a roof this year). Whatever does not get finished tonight will get finished on Saturday morning. A crew will be needed on Saturday to help transport the tower down to the church. Time for the Saturday session and transport will be decided tonight. 2. Strawberry Social Event REVISED- All scouts need to be on the green on SUNDAY morning BY 7:00 AM to walk the tower over to the green for final assembly, and set up of the green including things like tables & chairs, treasury tent…plenty to do before 11:00AM. Duty Roster for the day will be distributed Sunday morning. If you have schedule conflicts which preclude you from attending all or part of the day, please e-mail me and advise so the duty roster can be manipulated. 3. Strawberry Social Ticket Sales – Get your money turned in to the Honorable Mr. Heinemann (AKA Honest Walley). Rumor has it the Acampora boys have sold more than 8358 tickets 4. Strawberry Social Weather – Weatherman is predicting 85 degree weather on Sunday with chance of late day T storms 5. Strawberry Social Chairman – Mr. Mike Brechlin is owed a world of thanks for chairing the event for the second year in a row. Seriously, Mike has been in the engine room driving our annual fundraiser towards another success. Thank you Mr. Brechlin for all the running around and coordination. Mike has also secured a rather large donation from Wal-Mart. Subject to committee approval, there is talk the funds could secure another canoe or two. Hoo-Rah Mr. B. Oh, and yes Mike, before you ask me again, I did post the Strawberry Social sign at the entrance to the Green J. 6. June Court of Honor is tentatively planned for either Thursday June 9 or Friday June 10 up at Lake Quonnipaug. Stay tuned. Be sure to get your Blue Cards into our kind & gentle Advancement Chairman, Mr. Terwilliger ASAP to allow for his needed time to administrate his mystical powers. Seriously, he needs time to process the paperwork with BSA. Be courteous to Mr. T. 7. New Canoe trailer…we have bought the new aluminum 8 slip canoe trailer. Weighs only 300 lbs…sweet J Thank you to the Landon's for their donation to the troop to help buy our new toy. 8. Neckerchiefs – are in. See Mr. P to either replace or be dubbed. Devlin Tichy and Aiden Finger, you have not been forgotten. |
