SKI BUTTERNUT MA.

2/15/04 One Day FAMILY SKI TRIP

DESCRIPTION: Day Trip to Butternut Ski Basin 380 State Road Route 23 Great Barrington MA 01230 

Intention is to come together as a Troop to ski and also take advantage of group rates. Skiing merit badge opportunities will be available. Unfortunately each scout will be responsible to arrange own means of transportation by either connecting with another scout family or better yet come with his own family.

 

WHEN:  Departure – Sunday 2/15/03 meeting place Quonapaug Lake Pavilion 6:30 AM SHARP! Arrive Butternut by 8:45

                                 

Return - Sunday 2/15/03 anytime you choose. Some families are staying at nearby hotels to ski Monday too…Let it Rip!

 

Transportation will not be formally provided. Come with your family or hook up with a family you know and trust.

 

WHERE: Butternut Ski Basin, 380 State Road, Route 23, Great Barrington MA 01230 

 

WHAT 

COST - Group rates include Lift Tickets $27, Rentals $22, Group Lessons $10. Other than the packaged costs, everyone is responsible for themselves. Last Year a group of Troop 474    families informally got together and had a blast.

CLOTHING – Ski Wear works well.

FOOD & H2O – Bring Your Own, Buy Your Own, Eat Your Own…Share what you like.

     

 

This is an informal day of skiing and excuse for scout families to come together.
