Braemore is a 100 acre track of land in N Guilford bought by our town. Trails have been blazed and are being connected to adjacent trails from Branford to Madison.
This Saturday Sean Hickey and Matt Pecoraro have arranged with the Guilford conservation committee to address drainage problem along the entrance trail where it begins to climb from the meadow area. Water bars need to be installed. Bring a shovel, work gloves. Be prepared to dig and move big rocks & dirt. Plan on feet possibly getting wet.
Lone pine trail (blue) where it passes through boggy area near horse loop needs log stringers & or step stones. Step stones are preferred. Plan on locating and moving boulders. Plan on feet possibly getting wet.
