A.  ANNOUNCEMENTS

2.      TONIGHT IS HIGH SCHOOL BAND CONCERT; HENCE FEW HS SCOUTS ARE PRESENT

3.      GUILFORD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS AWARDING TROOP 474 VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR AWARD. FLAG CEREMONY WILL BE PROVIDED BY TROOP 474 AT THEIR ANNUAL EVENT ON 1/27. DETAILS TO FOLLOW.

4.      WELCOME PACK 472 WEBELOS PRESENT TONIGHT. Gentlemen, please present yourselves!!! Hoo Rah 472.

5.      Three day ADK snow shoe trek last weekend was an artic blast. Thank you Wood Duck Guru Mr. Federici & Braccio. Brave scouts who took three days two nights in the snow including Mt. Marcy summit included Rob Federici, Nate Dawg Braccio, Sean Hickey Adam & Dominic Casinelli, Adam Clark and others?. Need oral report. Pictures for next week.

6.      White Mts. N H weekend 2/12 - Heated Indoor and very cold outdoor option will be available. Separate handout will be provided. Tentative plan is drive up Friday night, crash indoors, wake up, set up camp, local snow shoe hike and go sledding. Sunday wake up, breakdown camp and snow shoe Mt. Clinton and return home late. Please let Mr. Pecoraro know if you have slightest interest or questions. This trip is suited for everyone. It’s ok to miss a day of MBC for this.

7.      MERIT BADGE COLLEGE Thanks Mr. McCloskey for coordinating MBC

8.      Eagle Scout Candidates – Braccio, Hickey, Pecoraro, Federici…you are not getting younger…Brothers, Get those applications and projects finished this winter/spring.

9.       Guilford Keeping Society needs Troop 474. Who needs community service? The Keeping Society outside work at the Medad Stone Tavern on the fourth Sat. of the month from 9 am to 12pm.  The dates are: Jan.29, Feb. 26, Mar. 26, April 23, and May 28.  We are clearing vines, trails etc. People should bring gloves and clippers.  Troop Guides Rob Federici Alex Laudano together with SPL’s, ASPL’s, Pecoraro, Braccio, Dudley & McGregor have cheerfully just stepped forward to see that this happens…correct gentlemen?

10.  1/22/05 Ski Trip – Day Trip to Mt. SnowThank you Greg Laird.  Meeting at Lake Quonnipaug at 5:45 with planned sharp 6:00 AM departure. Group rates being pursued. Group rate lift ticket adult is $44 vs. normal $67, Young adult group rate is $38 vs. $57 if we can get group discount. Everyone is responsible to sort out own car pooling. Please let Mr. Laird/Pecoraro/Acampora know if you want to come but need a ride. Entire family and friends are welcome.  Technically this is not a BSA event. Skiing merit badges?

14. Quarter Masters Casinelli & Clark…Retrieve troop gear including snow shoes and tents from those who went on last weekend’s ADK trip.

15. Revised Rosters with new PL/APL’s has been circulated.
