A.  ANNOUNCEMENTS

2.      FOOD DRIVE – Thank you Terwilligers and those who helped make the food drive successful. Thank you Mr. Terwilliger for your repeated annual service collecting food.

3.      Turkey roast weekend 11/20-21 at Deer Lake Danaher Pavilion was huge success in spite of the rain…Huge special thanks to the Acamporas who were the first to come and the last to leave…delivering massive quantities of wood the night before and taking home the greasy rack. Also thanks to Hickey’s for the Hickmeister Roasting Rack (patent pending with hinged wind shields under prototype development) and Mr. Aery for the Dutch Oven Pie Magic he orchestrated. Get digital pictures to Mr. Malinowski Web Master Extraordinaire so he can post photos. Thanks Henry Aery for leading us in grace. Thanks to all who shared our meal together.

4.      First Congregational Church (FCC) Liaison – Change in Plans – Mr. Lou Federici has stepped up to serve the role as FCC liaison with incredible overwhelming support of the troop and the FCC Ministry. Mr. Federici is perfect given his tenured leadership in Troop 474, membership in the FCC, and a person possessive of a huge diplomatic skill set found in lawyer types (please save the lawyer jokes). Thanks Big Lou.

 

5.      Den Chiefs- Taylor Clark, Greg Laird Matt Brechlin Alex Gemmell have volunteered to serve Pack 472.. Andrew McCloskey & Chris Terwilliger & Chris Edgerton serve as Den Chiefs for Pack 475. THANK YOU FOR YOUR LEADERSHIP. Please report to the troop on your activities and progress. How are you guys doing? We need oral reports.

 

6.      Annual BSA Troop 474 Christmas Band – It is that time of year again. Thank you Mrs Clark for taking the lead again this year, especially given her school schedule. Mrs Clark will be issuing music tonight for any 474 Scout or adult to take home to familiarize yourself. Rehearsals start 12/9 & 12/16 for those participating with concert venues to be announced. Today Guilford…tomorrow Vienna.  It becomes community service.

7.      Harvest Festival at FCC 11/6 Saturday. VOLUNTEERS IN CLASS A ARE NEED AT THE TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY TO DISTRIBUTE SONG BOOKS OR BROCHURES FOR THE GUILFORD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. BE THERE AT 6:00 PM AND SEE Carol McNanaby. Who is interested?

8.      FIRE SAFETY BLUE CARDS – Mr. Pecoraro still needs to distribute a handful of blue cards…thanks Mr. Town for supervising Mr. Pecoraro who promises to get it done.

9.      JANUARY ONWARD CALENDAR WILL BE PUBLISHED SHORTLY.
