Demonstration – Friday 5/20 at 7:00 at Melissa Jones – Urgently needs 474 scouts & scouters
to set up and present camping stations including tents, sleeping bags, stoves/cook kits, backpacks, PowerPoint slideshow,
misc. gear i.e. H2O pumps. Please contact Mr. P. if you are interested so that
responsibilities to scouts can be delegated…you are needed please!!! Troop Guides and SPL types, here is an
opportunity to satisfy requirement you can share with Mr. Dolan when you are at
your Eagle Board.
3.
Order of the Arrow – Congrats to newly elected members to OA including Greg Laird,
Derek Malinowski, Adam & Dominic Casinelli, and Alex Jagielski. You will be getting your letters from OA shortly. OA
reviewed the recent election and noted a technical flaw in the vote tallying
which included recent crossovers that were not qualified to vote since they did
not really know the boys they were voting for. The correct vote was recounted
and showed without question what we already knew. Troop 474 scouts do more
camping in one year than many scouts do in their life. Hoo Rah Alex, Greg,
Derek, Dom & Adam, the best OA scouts you will find!!!!
